Welcome to JA Central Iowa! Check out this short video created by Two Rivers Marketing before you browse the site to learn how to use JA Engage to view and register for volunteer openings. 

Before you proceed to view and register for our current volunteer opportunities, you need to either:

• Sign In
  • If you’ve volunteered with JA in the past and don’t know your credentials, click “Sign In” and then “Forgot your password?” to reset.
• Create an Account and Validate your Email
  • Click the box that says I am a Volunteer and fill out your personal information.
  • Please note: Your organization may not be registered within our database. If you do not find your organization, please enter “JA Engage Community Volunteer” for this field.
  • Once you’ve validated your email, please return to this page and Sign In

Once you are signed in to JA Engage, please follow the steps below:

• Click “Volunteer for a class”
• The next page will only show you featured classes. To view ALL openings, please click the Search button
• Search our current opportunities and find the best one for you! One-day volunteer opportunities are available for the JA Finance Park program.
• Click the school name to view the opportunities. From there, select the class you’d like to volunteer for.
• In the Class Page, scroll to the bottom and click “Volunteer for this class”
• Confirm the information on the screen and click “Sign Up”

You’ll receive an email with your class information and a JA team member will also receive notification you registered and will be in contact.
